SafeShare processes selected files in your browser. The service does not upload source files, extracted text, findings, previews, sanitized output, or reports.

What may leave the browser

The site downloads application resources and detector assets. If you explicitly consent, it may send coarse events such as “scan started” or “verified export completed.” These events exclude file names, types, contents, findings, metadata, OCR text, and hashes.

Memory-only jobs

Unfinished jobs are not saved for recovery. Refreshing or closing the tab ends the local processing session. Browser memory disposal is best effort and is not described as cryptographic erasure.

Retention and your choices

Local jobs are not retained. You may decline analytics without losing processing features and can clear the anonymous identifier through browser storage controls. Hosting security logs may contain ordinary request details, but must never contain file or finding values.

Contact

Send privacy and data questions through the anonymous report form. It reaches a monitored inbox and asks for no name, address, or account. Anything you type there is stored by the operator, so keep file contents and personal details out of it.
